traditional dental insurance, The insurance company agrees to pay a
predetermined portion of the costs you incur when visiting your dentist.
Participating dental care providers also agree to accept a discounted fee as
payment in full.

Discount
dental plans are not insurance. Participating dental care providers
have agreed to accept a discounted fee from plan members as payment-in-full
for services performed.
As a plan member, you simply show your membership
card when visiting any participating plan provider to receive dental
services at discounted fees. Discount plans pay nothing to the
dentist. You are responsible for all fees. |
